Actor Nancy Sekhokoane Awarded and Applauded

Nancy Sekhokoane is a loving, passionate and trained performer, actor and voice over artist, among many other incredible things! She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Live Performance at AFDA Cape Town in 2018 and went on win the 54th Annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for Most Promising Student in 2019. In the same year Nancy completed her LAMTA, Launchpad – Musical Theatre Training.

You may recognize her as the new face for the Checkers Sixty60 campaign: ‘Because getting stuff tomorrow is so Yesterday,’ or as one of your original Chicken Licken Soul Sisters (2019). Among many other notable commercials – Pringles (Superbowl 2021), Gaviscon (2021), Sanlam (2021) and upcoming local and international series, movies and animations!

Last year she was cast as ‘Cleo’ in the international feature film “Redeeming Love” due for release in the USA in 2022. She also took to the stage in veteran playwright Mike Van Graan’s, “He Had it Coming”, a one-woman show in which she played 19 characters, which address and confront Gender Based Violence among other issues.

Nancy is a staunch activist, volunteering for Reveal Woman, a non-profit organization and ministry, which focuses on enriching, empowering, inspiring, leading and intentionally investing into women from all walks of life.
