Meet digital content creator Paballo “Mam’ K” Kgware at AFDA Durban Open Day

AFDA Durban is delighted to announce that AFDA Live Performance alumna and digital content creator Paballo “Mam’ K” Kgwarebe will be the guest speaker at Open Day on the 2 April. Paballo  has become a Tik Tok sensation overnight with 800K followers and 18.1 million likes.

“No Mmapula I khant” and “Monnaka bought it cash” are probably two phrases that have made you chuckle while watching social media videos of the rich makoti who refuses to operate a kettle that isn’t touch-controlled at family events.

Paballo has been cast on the SABC1 series Uzalo, playing the role of her Tik Tok character “Mam’ K”. She also recently received a nomination for the Best Newcomer Social Media Comedian Award at the African Social Entertainment Awards 2021.
